Harry Potter star Devon Murray is expecting first baby with girlfriend

Actor Devon Murray, who played Seamus Finnigan in the eight Harry Potter films, has announced he is expecting his first child with his girlfriend Shannon McCaffrey.

It will be the star’s first time becoming a dad and he sweetly couldn’t hide his excitement as he announced the news today on his official Instagram account.

To break the news he shared a snap of a baby-grow along with pics from a sonogram next to it.

Tagging his girlfriend, the 31-year-old dad-to- captioned the snap by revealing the babies due date.

Devon wrote: “Baby Murray – 14th of January 2021!”

The star’s Instagram appearances have been sparse lately throughout the pandemic after the coronavirus swiped through the globe.

But the star has always made sure to mark special moments that he and Shannon share together.

The pair started dating in November 2018 and it appears to have been nothing short of a modern day romance story which their fans have enjoyed watching their updates.

On her birthday last July, he captioned a montage of snaps with the brunette: “Happy Birthday to the best girlfriend ever.

“I can’t wait to go on more life adventures with you @smccaffreyquinn I hope you have a great day. Love you.”

On Valentines Day the romantic took to his account once again to share his love for his partner.

For their first Valentines together in February 2019, Devon whisked his lover off to Paris for the weekend.

Sharing a snap of them in the city known for its romantic aura, he wrote: “Our first #valentines together in #paris Only together 3 months but can’t imagine my life without @smccaffreyquinn.”

Devon became famous after he appeared in all eight of the Harry Potter films as Seamus Finnigan.

It started in 2001 when he was cast to play the character in the first film, Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone.
