Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly on the cusp of securing the BBC show’s first ever all-male couple.
According to reports, bosses have been in last-minute talks with Westlife’s Mark Feehily, who would be paired up with professional dancer Johannes Radebe.
The Irish star is being lined up to dance with a male pro if his contract can be secured in time.
It’s claimed Mark, 40, who came out in 2005, was approached last year but turned it down because Westlife were due to tour.
However, because of the ongoing coronavirus, all tour dates are postponed, meaning Mark, who has a daughter with his finance Cailean O’Neill, is now able to take part.

An insider said: “Mark is a massive fan of Strictly, and the boys actually performed on the show last year.
“When he was first asked, he reluctantly had to decline because of the tour, but now that that’s off, he’s free to compete.”

The source continued telling The Sun: ““Nearly all the celebs are now signed up, but the Beeb are really keen to make this work and get him on board last minute.”
Despite bosses planning to pair Mark with Johannes, it’s claimed nearly all the male dancers have said they would be delighted to dance with a man.
A Strictly start date hasn’t yet been announced, however it’s been reported that the show will miss its usual start date in September.
Instead it’s thought it will have a later premiere on Saturday 24th October and continue until 19th December, the weekend before Christmas.
