Tonight’s episode of The Chase saw a rare moment occur as all four contestants were caught.
Fans were aghast as Anne Hegerty caught every single player, leaving none left to take her on in the final chase.
Viewers flooded Twitter, in disbelief at the unusual TV moment which saw all of them caught.
One said: “Ooo I’ve never seen a whole team caught before!”
While another wrote: “So tell me again, now that they’re all out, what happens now?”
When this happens on the show, the team choose one player to take on Anne in a final showdown, with the chosen one playing for £4,000.

They picked Jo to attempt to win the cash prize, which would see each contestant take home £1k.
Unfortunately, Jo didn’t manage to win the game, as Anne managed to answer more questions correctly than her.
Fans fell in love with one of the players tonight, who was the last one to get caught before the final chase.
Richard, an ex vicar, was determined to win the jackpot as he accepted Anne’s highest offer of a staggering £50,000.

He exclaimed when she made the incredible offer: “Blow to it, lets go out with a bang, £50,000.”
Fans loved how Richard went for the high offer, and flooded Twitter with messages of support.
One said: “That’s how the play final round if you’re the last player, Richard going for the 50K, makes him a legend, gooooo Rich.”
