It was the first time the former I’m A Celebrity contestant has been to the hair salon in four months.

An excited Helen filmed her return to the hairdressers, telling fans that her hair looked “actually vile” before her hairdresser Jamie Lear got his hands on it.

The soap star, who turns 30 next month, recorded the moment she was told she had a dry scalp, telling her hairdresser: “I think I got it over lockdown.”

Helen’s trip to the salon provided to be a liberating day out for the actress, who has two children, Matilda, 5, and one-year-old Delilah, with Celtic footballer Scott Sinclair, 31.

Helen has swapped her raven locks for a fun bubblegum pink colour in time for her 30th birthday next month

She explained: “I’ve literally not seen any adults.

“I’ve just been with the kids all the time and I don’t really get out that much anymore.

“I’ve literally nattered James’ ear off.

“He’s literally going to have such a headache because I literally haven’t stopped talking. I just can’t shut up.”
