Kanye West breaks down in tears and admits 'I almost killed my daughter'

Kanye West is famous for protecting his privacy and shying away from opening up for the cameras.

However, during an anti-abortion rant on his presidential campaign in North Charleston, South Carolina, the rapper turned politician made a big revelation to fans.

In what appears to be his most candid admission yet, the Yeezus star, 43, revealed that his father encouraged his mum, Donda, to terminate her pregnancy.

During a speech at the Exquis Event Centre, Charleston – the topic of abortion was brought up.

While appearing before a crowd of socially distanced fans, Kanye said: “My mum saved my life, my dad wanted to abort me, there would have been no Kanye West.

“Because my dad was too busy.”

After a supportive applause from his fans who shouted “we love you Kanye,” Kim Kardashian-West’s husband was visibly moved and made a bold statement.

Recalling his experience with the decision, Kanye said he was working on his laptop in Paris when Kim broke the news to him that she was pregnant.

“I almost killed my daughter, I almost killed my daughter,” he yelled.

“Even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into the world, even when I didn’t want to,” he exclaimed.

He added that there was “No Plan B, there is Plan A.”
