Emily Atack says The Inbetweeners is over for good and will never have a reunion

Emily Atack reckons The Inbetweeners is finished for good because its stars are too old.

The comedy’s four leading men are now in their mid-30s and have six kids between them.

Emily, 30, said: “Will there be a reunion?

“Probably not, no. The guys are all married with kids now. They are being grown-ups.

“This is the funny thing, when I was doing the show I was so young, I was like 17 and they were all miles ahead of me in age.

“I’m pretty sure Joe Thomas even celebrated his 30th while we were filming. No-one can ever believe it.”

The Inbetweeners ran for three series on E4 and two films were made.

It has been six years since the cast last played the roles that made them famous. But since then they have all gone on to have success.

Emily, who played Charlotte Hinchcliffe in The Inbetweeners, starred on I’m A Celebrity and has landed her own sketch show on ITV2.

But she insists she will forever have a soft spot for the pals she made on the show.

She added: “They will always be people that I bump into and be friendly with.”

Emily, 30, wrote: “Here we go…! The Emily Atack Show is coming to ITV2. Actually crying.

“I have written the most ridiculously outrageous sketch show for you all!!

“This is my lifelong dream and all I’ve ever wanted.”

She added: “I wish I could tell 16 year old crying in the toilets, boy mad, fake tan and eye lashes for school Emily this would come.

“I won’t let you down @ITV2 – see you in the Autumn!”

Friends and fans were overjoyed after hearing the announcement, with the post racking up more than 20,000 likes.

Fellow I’m A Celeb star Vicky Pattison wrote: “Huge congrats Em.”

While Love Island host Laura Whitmore also left her congrats alongside some clapping emojis.

Jungle pal Scarlett Moffatt also exclaimed: “Oh my God, congratulations you legend.”
