Dr Hilary Jones was replaced by a new doctor on today’s Good Morning Britain as the TV medical expert takes a break from the show.
The 67-year-old resident GMB doctor was absent today, as hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway confirmed his replacement on Monday morning, but she’s already been questioned by viewers.
They introduced another doctor, Sarah Jarvis, with Ben revealing she would be taking over from Hilary for the next “few weeks”.
Kate explained to viewers: “Dr Hilary is having a break.”
With Ben adding: “Hilary is off, he’s got his feet up. Well deserved, Sarah is picking up the slack.”

As the new doctor discussed wearing masks during the coronavirus lockdown, some noticed that her views differed to that of Dr Hilary.
One said: “So now we have Dr Sarah Jarvis giving differing information on masks from Dr Hilary.
“Dr Jarvis advocates 2/3 layer masks whilst Dr Hilary says any covering is ok. This is just another indication of the confusion on masks and their use.”

While another moaned: “Reversible mask…? Come on Dr … even you must know that is completely wrong. Please don’t tell people to use both sides of a mask ffs.”
“What @DrSarahJarvis doesn’t say is that you must change your mask for every shop/place you go into so multiple masks are needed per day.
“These disposable masks are a danger to the environment as they don’t degrade so we are going to have tons of waste produced by these masks.” added a third viewer.

Fans wondered where she was as she hosted on Monday and Tuesday, but was absent from Wednesday onwards.
Fans were happy to see Kate back again today, as one tweeted: “Glad to see Kate back.”
