Tamar Braxton is reportedly “alert and responsive” after allegedly attempting suicide.
The 43-year-old US singer and TV star has now been transferred to a new hospital to receive “specialised mental health treatment”, The Blast reported.
It’s said by the publication that Tamar is speaking to medical professionals about what happened in the days leading up to when she was first rushed to hospital.
A source told the publication that she is now “awake and alert” and is being taken to a “new hospital facility where she can receive more specialised mental health treatment”.
Her rep also confirmed that she has been transferred to a new hospital.

Tamar’s reps told the publication: “Tamar has been transferred to another facility for further evaluation and treatment.
“Out of respect for Tamar’s privacy and that of her family, no additional information is available at this time.”
The Blast’s report also claims that the star will most likely stay in the facility until it is discovered what kind of treatment would be best for her.
Tamar, who is the sister of Toni Braxton, was staying at the Ritz Carlton Residences in Downtown Los Angeles, near LA Live, with her boyfriend David Adefeso on the day that she was rushed to hospital.

Sources say he believed it was a possible suicide attempt.
A representative for Braxton told The Blast: “Tamar has had a very tough and emotional day — more information will be coming in the next few days.
“Please pray for her.”
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to publication they received a call around 9:45pm in regard to a 43-year-old female who had a medical emergency listed as a “possible overdose”.
Tamar and David host a live YouTube show called “Coupled and Quarantined” which was scheduled to air on Thursday evening.
Instead, the internet broadcast was pulled and was replaced with a note revealing Tamar is “not feeling great and under the weather.”
It read: “Hello Y’all, unfortunately, your girl Tamar is under the weather today and not feeling well so we need to postpone today’s show (don’t worry it’s not Covid).
