Lisa Marie Presley 'flees home as she's too distressed' after son's death

Lisa Marie Presley is allegedly too “distressed” to return to her Californian home, after her son Benjamin Keough’s tragic death.

The 27-year-old, who is the grandson to Elvis Presley, took his own life in the property on Saturday, July 12.

According to reports, his mother Lisa has spent the last few days staying in a hotel, surrounded by family as they process their grief.

The 52-year-old singer-songwriter reportedly returned to the house on one occasion after Ben’s death but has no plans to return again.

An insider claimed: “They were already dealing with the mould problem and now Lisa doesn’t want to return, she is too distressed and doesn’t ever want to relive that morning.

“She had been looking for a rental while staying at the hotel, going back and forth to the house only to sort things out, and she’s now found somewhere.

The source continued telling The Sun: “It’s the right place for the family to hole up for a while and grieve privately as they navigate this awful time in their lives.”

Lisa, who raised Ben with her musician ex-husband Danny Keough, is also mother to actress Riley Keough, 31, and twins Finley and Harper, 11.

Riley penned a devastating tribute to her late brother last weekend, describing the loss as “true heartbreak”.

Sharing a series of photos with her younger brother, she wrote: “Mornings are the hardest. I forget you’re gone. I can’t cry because of the fear that I will never stop. A pain that’s new to me.

“There are no words for you. Angel is the closest I could think of,” she continued. “Pure light. Baby brother. Best friend. Wild man. Intellectual. Witness to my life. Twin soul. Protector. Too sensitive for this harsh world.”
