The Chase viewers left raging as they accuse show of asking 'easy questions'

The Chase viewers were quick to accuse the show of asking “easy questions” tonight.

Four hopefuls took to the studios to play against chaser Paul Sinha in a bid to win a cash prize.

However, some viewers insisted Paul had some easy questions, with the other contestants facing tougher ones.

One said: “Hard lines. Easy question for Paul.”

While another – after doctor Paul was asked a medical question – said: “Bradley: Don’t forget he’s a doctor, that’s why we give him all the medical/biology questions…”

“Wendy’s getting some stinker questions,” added a third.

Three contestants made it to the final chase, and they stood a good chance as they answered 18 questions correctly ahead of Paul’s round.

Unfortunately, the Sinnerman was too good, and beat the trio with just a matter of seconds to spare.

The ITV show made headlines recently after a contestant named Vicky made a “cocky” remark towards Jenny “The Vixen” Ryan.

Vicky managed to win a respectable £4,000 in her cash builder, but things turned frosty when the time came for her head-to-head round with The Vixen.

Player Vicky answered a question correctly but quizzer Jenny failed to get it right.

After finding out she was still safe, Vicky jokingly congratulated Jenny on getting the answer wrong.

Vicky said: “Well done.”

An unimpressed Jenny hissed back: “Thanks.”

Fans were raging as they branded the contestant’s remark as “rude” and “patronising”.

One fan penned: “That ‘well done’ sounded very patronising”.

While another added: “‘Well done’ to a wrong answer? F*****g rude.”

While a third wrote: “She could regret being too cocky with Jenny, it’s not as if it’s Shaun.”

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV
