Caitlyn Jenner emotional as she lifts lid on special Kanye West friendship

Caitlyn Jenner appeared on Good Morning Britain today and she was interviewed by Ben Shephard and friend and former I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! co-star, Kate Garraway.

Caitlyn, 70, was quizzed about a number of topics from the comfort of her Malibu home, including her friendship with Kanye West, 43.

Ben, 45, asked her about her comments regarding suggesting she’d run as Kanye’s Vice President in his Presidential bid.

She revealed that her comments were light-hearted and “just a joke”.

The GMB hosts then asked her about what her thoughts on him are, following him causing controversy recently with a number of outlandish commits amid what wife Kim has described as a “bi-polar episode”.

Caitlyn responded: “He has been the most kind, loving human being to me.”

Seemingly referencing her transition, a visibly emotionally moved Caitlynn, added: “And he has been the nicest friend, especially with what I’ve been through the past five years.”

Kate then asked Caitlyn: “Has he been supportive?”

Caitlyn responded: “He’s been so supportive. So supportive.”

She added: “I just wish him the best. I hope for the best for him. He’s a really good guy.”

However, when Ben asked whether Caitlyn thought Kanye would make a good President of the United States, she admitted she couldn’t “go there”.

Ben asked: “Would he make a good President, though, Caitlyn?”

She laughed awkwardly and said: “I can’t even go there. I can’t see it, I can’t go there.”
