Louise Redknapp has opened up about how her two sons still want her and her ex husband Jamie Redknapp to get back together.
The 45-year-old singer has revealed that their two children, Charley, 16, and Beau, 11, still hold out home that their parents will reunite.
Louise has admitted they are ‘vocal’ about wanting their mum and dad to get back together.
The media personality told GoodtoKnow magazine that the conversation initially arose when her elder son Charley gave her the go-ahead to start dating again.
She told the publication: “My eldest is 15 and super-protective over me. But he knows he can talk to me about anything and doesn’t need to be embarrassed, I’m so open.

“One morning he said to me, “If you ever did want to go on a date, I’d be OK with it.” It was actually a big moment as he’d always been quite vocal that I’d never go on a date.”
Louise added that deep down that isn’t what he wants, as she explained: “They [the boys] always hope their mum and dad will work things out.”
Louise and Jamie’s 19-year marriage ended in 2017 and they now co-parent their two teenage boys.
The star explained: “I’m able to do the job I can do because he’s happy to share things with me. I have friends who don’t have that, but he’s hands on.

“We have a great system of co-parenting between us. Our rule is that while one of us is working the other is with them. We both want the kids all the time and encourage the other to go out so we can have them.”
Louise made headlines recently after it was reported she’d been being helped get through the pain of her divorce by her dominatrix pal.
Sources recently claimed that Louise was supported over the 2017 split by pal Charli Hooper, who reportedly charges £4,000 a night as a dominatrix, known as Queenie Gold.

They reportedly claimed to The Sun: “Louise adores Queenie, or Charli, as she calls her. They’ve been together through thick and thin and have supported each other through break-ups.
“Queenie has really helped Louise regain her confidence after her marriage collapse and oozes body positivity.
“She’s helped Louise realise that she has a fantastic figure and is in her prime.
“At a time when many women feel over the hill, Queenie has encouraged Louise to embrace her body in her forties and always champions her on social media.
“She’s her biggest cheerleader.”
