Gemma Collins 'to use sperm bank' to have baby after bitter split from ex Arg

Gemma Collins has confessed she is considering using a sperm bank so that she can have a child, just weeks after her split from James Argent.

The TOWIE legend has been vocal about her desire to be a mother for a number of years, and during an appearance on Loose Women on Thursday, she revealed her next steps.

ITV regular Nadia Sawalha asked the 39-year-old if she would go down the sperm bank route if she had to.

Gemma said: “My lovely gay besties have put themselves up for the job.

“But if I had to go down that route I would do it.”

The reality starlet went on: “I do want a baby. I want to feel motherhood.”

However she did joke that she hoped George Clooney would be available to have a baby with her.

Gemma has a very close bond with her nephew, as seen on her series Diva on Lockdown from earlier this year.

Sadly, the Essex lass is single once more after she broke up with her on-off boyfriend James “Arg” Argent – and this time it seems it’s for good.

Gemma shared a series of screenshots of text messages between them in which Arg wrote cutting comments about her appearance, including bombarding her with a pig emoji.

Despite her heartbreak, it doesn’t look like Gemma has been too down in the dumps though, as she has been enjoying herself on a sunny holiday recently.

The Celebrity Big Brother star shared a number of images of herself in a swimsuit and bikini after losing weight during lockdown.

She spoke of her weight loss on Loose Women, saying: “I did it slowly this time, not rapid.”

Gemma explained that she wants the weight to stay off and she has been told to lose a further two stone.

A cyst on her ovaries has gone since she’s started slimming down, so it appears Gemma is on the right track.

She said: “I pray everything is going to work out for me.”

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV
