Caroline Flack ‘s drunken lover dialled 999 to report her for assault after telling her: “You’re f***ed”, the inquest heard yesterday.
Tennis star and model Lewis Burton, 28, had been “drinking all day” before the bust-up.
While he was asleep in bed Caroline went through his phone and discovered he had been texting another woman, it was said.
First she tapped him on the legs to wake him then “whacked” him with her mobile phone – causing a cut which bled “profusely”.
According to a police report Lewis – who knew her fear of bad publicity – told her she was “f***ed” then called officers.

When police arrived Lewis, who was in boxer shorts, said he had been suddenly woken by Caroline hitting him on the head using an object “with some force”.
During the incident Caroline smashed a glass candle holder and used it to slash open her left arm, which required plastic surgery.
Her mum Christine told the inquest police – who found her daughter naked and covered in blood – took her into custody, leaving Lewis in her flat.

She alleged he took a photo of Caroline’s bloodied bed and sent it to an ex-girlfriend.
It later appeared on the front page of a newspaper.
Deputy chief crown prosecutor Lisa Ramsarran said Lewis’s injury was at the “top end” of assault by beating.

The couple had been dating since August 2019 but before her death the TV star left a note saying she wanted the case dropped and wished to get their romance back on track.
Last night Christine said: “Caroline always admitted that she had lashed out at Lewis for reasons he knows. Many people pretended to love Caroline and took advantage of her kindness and they know who they are.
“Someone took a photo that night and sent it to another person who sold it to the press – and this devastated Caroline.
“You know what you did.
“Caroline, you were loved. I love you. Those that would have harmed you can’t touch you now.”
