Liam Gallagher returned to Twitter following a brief hiatus, and didn’t waste any time in launching into a foul-mouthed tirade against his estranged brother Noel Gallagher, branding him a “c***”.
The siblings haven’t seen eye-to-eye since Noel quit the band in 2009 following a heated backstage row at Rock en Seine festival, Paris.
But with time on his hands in lockdown, the 48-year-old has been venting his feelings on the social media site.
On Tuesday evening, he wrote: “Ya can’t take it with ya.”
Following his remark, he was soon met with comments from his 3.1million followers.

One asked: “Noel wants to do a covers album, what song would you cover given the opportunity?”
“He should cover I’m a massive c*** by the c***s,” he clapped back.
While his attack on his older brother nothing new, in recent times the Wall of Glass hitmaker has shown his softer side, offering an olive branch to Noel.

Earlier this year, in an interview with NME magazine, the Manchester musician insisted an Oasis reunion is going to happen “very f**king soon”.
Speaking to the publication, Liam discussed his fraught relationship with Noel and was asked if a reunion offer has been put on the table.
“It’s not been put on the table; it’s just been booted around,” he said.

“It is gonna happen, believe you me – it’s gonna happen very fucking soon because he’s greedy and he loves money and he knows that it’s got to happen soon or it won’t happen.”
Liam previously invited his brother to reunite for a one-off show later this year – a concert to thank NHS staff who have worked tirelessly on the coronavirus frontline.
After Liam claimed Noel turned down the invite, he has since planned a solo concert in October.
