The X Factor presenter Dermot O’Leary has revealed that his wedding ring and a bag has been stolen.
The 47-year-old star who is married to long-term sweetheart Dee Koppang, has shared a police appeal for information after the theft of the ring, which is inscribed with the words ‘Team KO’.
And the TV personality tweeted a picture of a grey-haired man in an Adidas t-shirt – identified by police as a person of interest in their investigation – as he told fans he was ‘sad’ to report the theft.
Dermot, 46, shared a tweet by the Met Police’s Westminster branch, which read: “Do you recognise this man?

“We wish to speak to him re theft of a bag from a gym in Mortimer Street W1 on 13 Aug.”
Police said items stolen included a wedding ring inscribed with ’14/9/12 Team KO’.
O’Leary retweeted the message with the words: “Sadly this was my wedding ring & bag that was stolen.
“I’m sure I won’t see them again, but I’d really like it if he didn’t have the opportunity to steal yours.
“Please have a good look at the picture & if you recognise him call 101.”
It comes just two months after Dermot and his wife Dee became parents for the first time.
After a “rocky” road to having children, the happy couple were “delighted” to announce they had become proud parents to a little baby boy named Kasper in June this year.
Announcing the exciting news on Instagram, Dermot penned: “Welcome to the world baby Koppang O’Leary… We’re delighted to announce that we’ve had a baby!

“A little boy born on Tuesday 23rd June 2020 (Sankthansaften / Midsummer for you Norwegians) at 8.19am, weighing in at 6lb 13oz.
“Enjoying the cuddles in the newborn bubble… cats yet to be 100% convinced. Lots of love, Dermot & Dee x.”
Raido presenter Dermot first announced Dee was expecting back in February, after eight years of marriage.
He said: “Koppang O’Leary productions presents ‘new arrival’ coming soon.”
Before adding: “We’re pleased to announce that we’re expecting a little Koppang O’Leary…”
The sweethearts first met at a TV production company, with Dermot falling head over heels for producer and director Dee.
Dermot later popped the question during a romantic trip to New York, with the two tying the knot in an intimate ceremony at St Mary’s Church in Chiddingstone in September 2012.
