Holly Willoughby addresses This Morning exit rumours amid claims she's leaving

Holly Willoughby has hit back at claims she is set to leave ITV show This Morning.

The 39-year-old TV beauty has been plagued by rumours she is about to walk away from the sofa after 11 years presenting with Philip Schofield.

It has been claimed she wanted to focus on her own career but representatives of the star have shot down the claims saying she is happy.

A spokesman said: “Holly loves This Morning and working with Phil.

“She is the happiest that she’s ever been on the show and has no plans to leave.”

Holly has presented the show alongside her co-star Phil since 2009.

The Sun on Sunday reported that Holly, who is mum to Harry, 11, Belle, nine, and five-year-old Chester, could be set to leave to ‘pursue work in prime time TV’.

Despite denials from Holly’s team, having reportedly signed a lucrative new ITV contract earning close to £1million a year, the star has paved the way for an exit.

Holly has kickstarted a major change in the way she works, leaving the showbiz agency YMU that she and Phillip were both a part of last week.

Instead, she will now manage herself vie her own company Roxy Management.

On top of that, she will reportedly be surrounded by an all-female team including a personal assistant, a publicist and an accountant.

A source told The Sun: “Holly is unique in that women like her and want to be her friend and men are attracted to her as she’s so beautiful. She has universal appeal.

“Being a working mum-of-three means parents can relate to her, and she seemingly understands everyday struggles.

“While she loves This Morning, her four-day-a-week live TV stint is a huge drain on her time and requires a lot of energy, plus she’s been doing it for 11 years now.

“There’s always change afoot in the broadcasting industry and she’s got her options open to sign up to other profitable opportunities.”

The rumours have arisen after Holly announced she was stepping down as a captain of Celebrity Juice back in May.

She revealed she’s leaving the ITV2 show so she can “spend more time with her family”, after 12 years as one of the team captains.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV
