Michael Jackson went on a brutal takedown of both The Beatles and Elvis Presley in a newly unearthed handwritten letter from 1987.
In the letter, which was written at the height of MJ’s fame, the Man In The Mirror superstar promised to change the world and sell 200million records.
Letting rip at Elvis and The Beatles for being overrated due to their race, Jackson vented: “Throughout history white men have always branded the pages of history with great white heroes, putting whites over blacks…”
He added: “Like Elvis being the King of Rock and Roll, Springsteen being the boss and The Beatles being the best.

“Yes, these guys were good but they weren’t better singers or dancers than the blacks.”
Showing his ambition for world domination, MJ went on: “I will rule as the king.
“I am not prejudice, it’s just time for the first Black King now.
“My goal is to become so ‘big’, so powerful. To become such a hero, to end prejudice.

“To make these little white kids love me by selling over 200,000,000 albums.
“Make them look up to me. I will change the world.”
Across his whole career, Michael Jackson is credited with album sales of 233m.
The feat was beaten by The Beatles, who sold a whopping 280.7m, and almost matched by Elvis, who racked up sales of 226m.
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Michael Jackson’s iconic Thriller album has sold over 66m copies alone.
Meanwhile, Madonna is recorded as the highest selling female artist of all time with 173.8m certified units.
Michael died in June 2009 of cardiac arrest at his home in the Holmby Hills, Los Angeles.
At the time he was just weeks away from his sell out This Is It comeback shows at London’s O2 Arena.
