Glee star Lea Michele has reportedly given birth to her and her husband Zandy Reich’s first child together, a healthy baby boy.
The 33-year-old gave birth on August 20, according to People, but the little boy’s name has not yet been revealed.
The birth is said to have gone well and both Lea and her new baby are doing fine.
A source told the publication: “Everyone’s happy and healthy, and they’re extremely grateful.”
They added: “He’s been an easy baby so far.”
Lea and her husband Zandy announced they were expecting a baby earlier this year.
Singer Lea shared a photo on Instagram of herself cradling a baby bump, alongside the caption: “So grateful.”
Lea is best known for playing Rachel Berry on Glee.
Her husband Zandy, 37, is the president of the women’s fashion brand AYR, which is also known as All Year Round.
They got married in March 2019 in a North Caroline ceremony with more than 200 loved ones in attendance.
Zandy popped the question around a year into their romance.
But it’s thought that they had been friends for several years before they progressed into a romantic relationship.
Despite having the excitement of a new baby on the way, Lea, and her former co-stars, were hit with heartbreak when Naya Rivera was found dead.
The mum-of-one’s body was found after a five-day search, with police believing she died after accidentally drowning in Lake Piru.
Lea paid tribute to Naya in a touching black and white snap on Instagram, while also remembering her ex-boyfriend and former co-star Cory Monteith, who died in July 2013.
However, Lea has also had to deal with backlash from a number of former colleagues who spoke out about her behaviour on set.
Samantha Ware accused her of making her life “a living hell” while working on Glee.
The actress, who played Jane Hayward on Glee, claimed to Variety that Lea “said she would call [show creator] Ryan Murphy” to “come and fire” her.
Lea went on to apologise and claimed she did not remember acting that way towards Samantha, but added that was “not really the point”.
She said: “What matters is that I clearly acted in ways which hurt other people.
“One of the most important lessons of the last few weeks is that we need to take the time to listen and learn about other people’s perspectives and any role we have played or anything we can do to help address the injustices that they face.”
