Coleen Nolan and Denise Welch come face to face on ITV after 'witch' drama

Loose Women ‘s Denise Welch and Coleen Nolan appeared on the same show together today, chatting to co-stars Michelle Ackerley and Kelle Bryan.

Today’s show was led by Michelle, who is best known for presenting BBC’s Watchdog and The One Show, as she appeared for her first stint ever on the programme.

Coleen and Denise were seen chatting happily with each other, as they kicked the show off by grilling Michelle about herself, uncovering some facts and lies.

It comes after it was revealed that Denise had unfollowed her co-star Coleen following hwe manager Melanie Blake ranting about Nadia Sawalha on social media, branding her “nasty” and a “witch”.

Coleen and Denise appeared in the studio together for Loose Women today

Denise made it clear whose side she was on as she posted a throwback picture of herself with Nadia as she supported her friend, writing: “One of the loveliest of friends.

“Have absolutely zero idea of when this was or where but it was a long time ago!! Love you Nads!!”

Melanie had taken to social media to talk about Nadia following a segment on Loose Women where Nadia had discussed body confidence.

The pair seemed to be fine with each other, despite Denise unfollowing her on social media

She wrote: “It’s a shame she ‘officially ‘ gave up acting because Nadia deserve an Oscar for this speech.

“Her constant ‘be kind’ etc speeches are so ironic considering she is a total witch.’

Melanie also replied to a Twitter user with: ‘The time will come. I’d let sleeping dogs lie if she didn’t bleat on about ‘being kind’ every time she gets the chance – when behind the facade she is anything but.

“If she had any sense – she’d wise up – before more people reveal what she’s really like, like her sister did…”

A rep for Nadia said at the time: “Nadia is shocked and hurt by this tweet. Nadia is known in the industry as being kind, generous and gives her time and energy to many positive causes.

“Everyone who knows Nadia knows this is absolutely not true and she will rise above the negativity.”

Loose Women continues tomorrow at 12.30pm on ITV.
