Liam Payne's 'fiancée' Maya Henry flashes '£3million ring' as they celebrate

Liam Payne and his apparent fiancée Maya Henry stepped out in London on Thursday evening and it appeared she was wearing her new engagement ring.

The One Direction superstar reportedly proposed to his girlfriend of two years and it’s thought they were out celebrating their engagement.

Liam, 26, wore black trousers and a mustard silk shirt, unbuttoned down his chest, with his hair styled in 90s curtains.

Meanwhile Maya, 202, went for an all-black look consisting of a long, plunging dress, leather jacket, shoes and handbag.

But the massive rock on her ring finger was the real star attraction and she made little attempt to hide it from waiting photographers.

The ring, according to MailOnline, cost a whopping £3million and Maya was seen proudly showing it off at the restaurant they were at.

It featured an enormous sparkling rock, so the US-born beauty would have had a difficult time trying to hide it even if she’d wanted to.

Liam reportedly popped the question to Maya during lockdown, not long after their rumoured split back in February.

However, the split never actually happened, according to a friend of the couple – they just took their relationship off social media.

They told the publication: “Maya and Liam are definitely still a couple and are very happy together.

“Both have been taking time off social media lately and enjoying each other’s company away from the spotlight.”

The duo were first linked in August 2018, not long after Liam split up with Cheryl, 37.

He and former Girls Aloud beauty Cheryl share their three-year-old son Bear.

But Liam didn’t publicly speak about his new romance until September 2019, saying: “We’re fairly happy at the moment. I’m just past the point of where I’m bothered or not.”

He added on Capital Breakfast: “It’s not worth my happiness; I’d just rather go out and do what I want. I’ve got nothing to hide.”

That same month he made the romance Instagram official with a photo of the two of them laughing and hugging.

He wrote in the caption: “Sometimes I don’t recognise this happy guy… sure glad you brought him back though.”

The hunk thanked Maya for “always keeping the biggest smile on [his] face through all the stress and making [him] realise how perfect [his] life really is”.

Despite getting together in 2018, it wasn’t the first time Liam and Maya met as they were pictured together at a One Direction meet-and-great when she was 15.
