Adele chatted up by Tom Hanks' son Chet after bikini pic with cringe proposition

Tom Hanks’ son Chet has taken to social media to beg Adele to drop him a line just days after she posted a bikini clad snap online.

Chet, 30, logged into Instagram before uploading a clip of him singing her hit Fire To The Rain.

Turning down the music, Chet started speaking in a mock Jamaican accent in reference to her infamous Notting Hill themed snap.

Looking to the camera, Chet said: “Adele, Adele, Adele.

“After I saw that picture of you it sweet me. Don’t tell a lie my girl your style is fit, yo.

“And hit up up my DM’s.”

He playfully captioned the clip: “PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ADELE HIT MY LINE ASAP!

“I NEED TO TALK TO HER ABOUT SOMETHING.”

Chet signed off the post with a string of Jamaican flag emojis.

Last week Adele was hit with accusations of cultural appropriation after she uploaded a snap of her rocking Bantu knots in her hair while celebrating what would have been Notting Hill Carnival weekend.

Dress in skintight leggings and a Jamaican flag bra, the chart-topper looked almost unrecognisable as she posed for a pic.

Seemingly unaware of the fury which was about to follow, Adele captioned the shot: “Happy what would be Notting Hill Carnival my beloved London.”

Within minutes fans were divided in the comments section.

Letting rip at the shot, one fan replied: “Adele dropped that weight and said it’s time for her cultural appropriation era.”

Another vented: “Dear white people, please just be yourselves and stop it for good with cultural appropriation.

“Adele the bantu knots were unnecessary. The Jamaican flag bikini top was unnecessary… Please just stop it.”

A third hit out: “Black women are discriminated against for wearing cultural hairstyles like bantu knots and locks but white people are not, that’s not fair and that’s why people are p****d off.”
