Ant McPartlin has said he would win I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! – but his best mate Declan Donnelly would have no chance.
The Geordie duo are set to return to the ITV flagship show, this year taking place in Wales instead of Australia, later in the autumn.
And while Ant and Dec, both 44, front the show, Ant has said he’d be a sure bet to win it if he ever entered the jungle as a campmate.
Writing in their new book Once Upon A Tyne about how they’d get on in the jungle, Dec said: “We’ve thought about it and I actually think Ant would do really well. Definitely top three.”

But Ant hit back: “Top three? I’d win it!”
Dec went on: “You might be right.
“You’re very outdoorsy, you get on with people, you’re quite patient, you’d give the trials a good go, you’d eat anything.”
However he wasn’t so sure Dec would do quite as well.
Ant said: “Let’s just say I think you’d be brilliant at Strictly.

“I’m not sure you’re cut out for I’m A Celeb.
“You get grumpy when you’re hungry.”
Ant missed the show back in 2018 when he took time out to recover from his addiction struggles, following his drink-driving conviction.
He entered rehab to get help with his drink and prescription drug issues.
The telly favourite said: “I missed it so much – not just the job and Dec and the show, but the whole experience.
“I couldn’t wait to get back after a year away.”
The 2020 series of I’m a Celebrity will take place at Gwrych Castle in North Wales.
Bosses chose to keep the show going despite its usual Australian location being impossible due to the coronavirus lockdown and ongoing travel restrictions.
The cast is yet to be announced, though it’s certain that campmates will be in for a different ride this year.
