Love Island USA fans heartbroken as host looks double of Caroline Flack

Love Island USA viewers flocked to Twitter tonight to express their sadness after noticing the likeness the show’s host has to Caroline Flack.

Just minutes into the American spin-off of the hit ITV2 series, fans took to social media to reminisce about Caroline Flack.

Love Island USA is hosted by actress and model Arielle Vandenberg.

The blonde presenter, 33, has hosted the show since series one in 2019.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “Anyone else so sad to see the US presenter looks so much like The Flack?”

Another added: “OMG their presenter is the spit of our Flack #LoveIslandUSA.”

“Why have they made her look like Caroline flack? But disrespectful,” a third moaned.

“Should be someone completely different with their own style!”

Meanwhile, a fourth wrote: “15 mins into #LoveIslandUSA and here’s my assessment so far: Vegas looks good and the host is trying to hard to be like Caroline Flack.”

Caroline Flack tragically passed away in February this year.

She was just 40-years-old when she took her own life awaiting trial for charges of assault by beating of her boyfriend Lewis Burton.

Flack always denied the claims against her.

Burton publicly called for the police not to prosecute and said he would not support their case.

Shortly after her death, Caroline’s mother released a statement penned by the late star which was never released.

Caroline wrote: “On December the 12th 2019 I was arrested for common assault on my boyfriend …Within 24 hours my whole world and future was swept from under my feet and all the walls that I had taken so long to build around me, collapsed. I am suddenly on a different kind of stage and everyone is watching it happen.

“I have always taken responsibility for what happened that night. Even on the night. But the truth is …. It was an accident.

“I’ve been having some sort of emotional breakdown for a very long time.

“But I am NOT a domestic abuser. We had an argument and an accident happened. An accident. The blood that someone SOLD to a newspaper was MY blood and that was something very sad and very personal.”
