Diana Rigg's racy performance with Daniel Radcliffe on Extras remembered

Game of Thrones and Avengers star Dame Diana Rigg has died aged 82 and fans have been busy remembering her best scenes.

One which has been shared many times on Twitter since the heartbreaking news dropped is a scene from BBC’s Extras where Diana’s character gets a condom chucked at her head while sat in a trailer on a movie set.

In the episode, Daniel Radcliffe and Diana join Ricky Gervais, who plays Andy Millman, on set while playing themselves.

It sees Harry Potter star Daniel fiddling with a condom, as Andy says: “You’ve unravelled it?”

Daniel nods and says: “Ready for action. Let’s hope it’s big enough,” before pinging the condom.

The condom flies through the air and lands on Diana’s head who looks very unamused as she’s about to raise a spoonful of what appears to be soup to her face.

Stars such as Warwick Davis, Shaun Williamson, Stephen Merchant and Ashley Jensen also appeared in the show to play themselves.

The news of Diana’s death came today, as it was revealed the actress , who played Olenna Tyrell in Game of Thrones and Emma Peel in the Avengers, died at home surrounded by her family.

She was secretly battling cancer for months.

The star had a condom chucked at her head

Dame Diana’s daughter, actress Rachael Stirling, said: “My Beloved Ma died peacefully in her sleep early this morning, at home, surrounded by family.

“She died of cancer diagnosed in March, and spent her last months joyfully reflecting on her extraordinary life, full of love, laughter and a deep pride in her profession.

“I will miss her beyond words.”

Her agent Simon Beresford also said: “She died peacefully early this morning. She was at home with her family who have asked for privacy at this difficult time.”

He continued: “Dame Diana was an icon of theatre, film, and television.

“She was the recipient of Bafta, Emmy, Tony and Evening Standard Awards for her work on stage and screen.

“Dame Diana was a much loved and admired member of her profession, a force of nature who loved her work and her fellow actors. She will be greatly missed.”
