I’m a Celebrity bosses have stepped up the work on Gwrych Castle as the popular reality show prepares to return to our screens.
ITV announced last month that the 20th series of I’m A Celeb will be filmed at the historic Abergale site in North Wales instead of the Australian jungle due to the coronavirus pandemic.
With the clock running down until the famous faces arrive, more cranes and scaffolding boards have arrived at the location to help pick up the pace of the work needed.
Behind-the-scenes photographs from the site gives a sneak peek at what the celebrities may have to face during the dreaded trials and tasks.
A large structure of a container, similar to those used in trials, can be seen being lifted by a crane near the grounds where the show will be filmed.

Workmen have also been spotted on the side of the castle to make sure the structure is secure for the new campmates to arrive later this year.
The ruined castle is spread across 250 acres of gardens and grounds.
Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly will host an adapted version of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! live every night on ITV from the castle this Autumn.
As usual, viewers will see celebrities undertake gruelling trials and fun-filled challenges to win food and treats in the lead up to one of them being crowned, for the first time ever, King or Queen of the Castle.

It comes as Kevin Lygo, the Director of Television at ITV, has allegedly said that all the big celebrity names that are due to take part in the yearly challenge are “excited”.
“I certainly didn’t want a year without I’m A Celebrity,” he explained. “We could just about survive without it, but my God it’s a premier, wonderful thing that has done so well over a long period.”
He continued: “Australia was always going to be a challenge so we found this extraordinary place in go here in North Wales that’s a sort of beautiful, Disney drawn castle crumbling. We just thought it looks like perfect vacation.”
Celebrities such as Strictly Come Dancing’s AJ Pritchard and EastEners actress Tamzin Outhwaite are rumoured to have signed part for the forthcoming series.

Gwrych Castle is nestled in a tree lined hillside overlooking the Irish Sea and has 250 acres of gardens and grounds perfect for I’m A Celeb campmates.
The Welsh tourist destination is a beautiful Grade I listed 19th Century county house.
Chair of the Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust, Dr Mark Baker, said: “I’m absolutely delighted that I’m A Celebrity has chosen Gwrych Castle to be its UK location for the 2020 series.”
Adding: “I’m A Celebrity being here will really help support Gwrych Castle and its ongoing restoration as well as giving the region a much-needed economic boost.”
The latest series of I’m A Celebrity is expected to return to our screens in November.
