Harry Potter star Robbie Coltrane has made a rare admission about his current girlfriend in an interview.
Robbie, who plays Hagrid in the hit fantasy film series, was left heartbroken when his marriage to sculptor Rhona Gemmell ended in 2003.
He had been thought to have moved on and has a girlfriend, but has kept her out of the limelight and rarely speaks about his love life or has identified her.
Now in an interview with Radio Times Robbie told how he has a ” steady girlfriend”.
He said: “We’ve been going out for 12 years now, and she’s a grown up.”

Robbie also told how his life is no longer as “wild” as it used to be in the interview.
He said: “I still like to drive my ’65 Mustang at ridiculous speeds and things like that, that’s never going to leave me, but I’m a 70-year-old man.”
Robbie then insisted: “I don’t want any babies!” as he discussed how Mick Jagger is doing exactly that in his seventies.

Robbie has two adult kids Spencer McMillan and Alice McMillan from his marriage to Rhona.
He added: “I’ve got my babies. They’re up and running.
“I have a steady girlfriend.”
Robbie now currently starring in Urban Myths: Orson Welles.
It comes after he dropped out of the spotlight during a tough period battle with osteoarthritis in 2016.
At the time doctors told him at the time he must lose weight or risk facing life with serious mobility issues.

Speaking about his heath, he said: “I’m in constant pain all day.
“I had an exploratory operation and they discovered I had no cartilage left in one of my knees. It’s completely disintegrated,” he told the Daily Mail.
Last week Robbie defended JK Rowling after she was accused of being transphobic.
JK, author of the hit Potter books, faced online fury earlier this year about mocking a headline, which referred to “people who menstruate” and has come under fire from Harry Potter stars including Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.
This month she sparked another backlash when her latest novel, Troubled Blood was released and it was revealed it features a man who wears dresses and kills women, with critics saying it is an unfair representation of transgender people.
Robbie revealed he does not find her views offensive, saying he “doesn’t know why but there’s a whole Twitter generation of people who hang around waiting to be offended”.
