Stacey Solomon has shared a heartwarming video showing her one-year-old son Rex rushing to greet his dad Joe Swash as he returns home.
In the clip the youngster is seen running up to the closed front door of the couple’s home, as Loose Women star Stacey can be heard in the background saying “who is it?”.
Joe then opens the door, gets down on his knees and greets the youngster with a beaming smile as he scoops up his son in his arms.
Clearly emotional over the father and son moment, Stacey took to Instagram story and shared the clip, and told how it had made her “heart hurt”.
She wrote: “When daddy comes home they hurt my heart.

“I don’t usually leave the door open I knew he was almost home so I put the latch on.”
Stacey later shared another touching clip of Rex playing with a toy drill inside the home.
She asks him: “Are you fixing your drill?”
Rex then puts a plastic drill bit into the end of his toy, before turning it on and laughing.

Last month Stacey revealed she and Joe were up all night caring for Rex after he got sick.
Stacey documented his health update with her 3.7million fans on Instagram.
She shared an adorable snap of herself cuddling Rex as she smiled with love and cuddled her son.
Stacey wrote over it, “Good morning,” followed by a paragraph explaining her night before and how Rex became unwell during the night.

The mum-of-three wrote: “We’ve been up all night because pickle isn’t feel very well, he’s all snuffly and not his happy self at all.
“So I’m going to spend the day giving him all the cuddles watching his temperature.
“Love you all lots and lots. See you tomorrow and hopefully he’ll be feeling better.”
Rex is Stacey and Joe’s only child together but the dad recently revealed that having a daughter “is a temptation” as he talked about adding to their family.
Joe has a son from his relationship with Emma Sophocleous, while Stacey has two sons from previous relationships.
When asked whether he would like to have a daughter, Joe told OK! magazine: “I think that would be the biggest temptation for Stacey and I.
“Not that having another boy would be bad, because we just love kids and love to add to our family.”
