EastEnders star and Strictly Come Dancing favourite Maisie Smith has revealed she was brutally attacked by a seagull on a day at the beach.
The actress claims the bird swooped on her for a bite of her sarnie while on a day out in Lowestoft.
But the fish finger fiend bit her on the face instead.
Maisie, 19, posted a picture at the seaside on Instagram over the weekend and said: “This was the day a giant seagull bit my face tryna eat my fish finger bap.”
Many of her followers expressed sympathy at her plight at the claws of the winged menaces.

One wrote: “OMG you’re still smiling?! I’d have freaked out!!”
Another said: “That’s scary. My wife would have had a heart attack!”
The Tiffany Butcher star did not appear to have suffered any noticeable injury from the traumatic incident.
She is the latest victim of the country’s seagull scourge which has seen beachgoers chased around beaches, residents plagued by poo and rubbish and even children’s telly legend Dave Benson-Phillips having to suffer at their evil claws.

Talented dancer and singer Maisie was still last night the red-hot favourite to take the Strictly crown when it begins next month.
Bookies Coral had her as low as 2-1 to walk off the ballroom floor triumphant.
She has experience on the show, having won last year’s one-off Christmas special alongside Kevin Clifton.
A source reportedly said of her potential partner this time: “All the male pros really want to partner with her, not just because she’s young and fit, but she’s also proven herself to be a brilliant dancer.”
Maisie is a former child star on the soap having originally joined as little Tiff, the daughter of legendary Square couple Bianca and Ricky, in 2008 aged just seven.
But she has now amassed a whopping social media following with her sexy pictures and dance routines.
