Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway has spoken of her determination to be ‘brave and do more’ after a tough 2020.
The ITV regular has had an agonising few months after her husband Derek was hospitalised with a severe strain of coronavirus.
While he no longer has the virus, Covid-19 has wreaked havoc on his body and he is still in hospital.
Taking to Instagram Kate shared a clip of her zipping about London on the back of a motorbike as she juggled her demanding schedule.
In the clip Kate, 53, sports a face mask and helmet as she heads off to work.

Speaking into a microphone built into the safety gear, the inspirational star can be heard saying: “So great to be back on the bike.”
Checking out the sights of the capital, Kate continued: “It’s all mellow mists and fruitfulness this morning.
“If you can hear me through the helmet and mask, go and turn on Smooth Radio.”
She captioned the post: “Back on the bike and heading for Smooth Radio – feels good to be braving doing more and seeing my friends from @limobikelondon again.

“Quite a combination isn’t it – mask helmet and wind!
“So in case u missed anything! I am just saying it feels all ‘mellow mists & fruitfulness’ this morning and am going to be getting some relaxing tunes to match on Smooth Radio from 10.”

Explaining how it was their 15th wedding anniversary while he is in hospital, Kate said: “15 years today.
“I won’t be able to see him today. I kind of hoped I would but it hasn’t worked out that way for the visit. But maybe it would be a bit strange anyway.
“So yeah, it’s a tough day. But, he’s still here. There’s not a huge amount of change.”
