Chris Evans may be happily settled now, but it took two failed marriages and a string of relationships before he found the one.
The Radio 2 DJ has dated some very famous faces, including a Spice Girl, a Loose Woman and a Doctor Who companion.
After two disastrous attempts of marriage, Chris finally settled down with third wife Natasha Shishmanian – marrying the professional golfer and writer in the summer of 2017.
The happy couple, who welcomed sons in 2009 and 2012, celebrated the arrival of their twins in September 2018.
Chris also has an adult daughter, Jade, who he fathered with ex-fiancee Alison Ward when he was just 21.
With his personal life being a key part of his radio shows, Chris has announced his divorces live on air to his listeners.

The popular presenter has also had a wide variety of weddings, from Las Vegas to the ‘register office from hell’.
Despite splitting from ex-wife Billie Piper 16 years ago, it was only at the start of this month that Chris returned a sentimental item, over a decade after she left the marital home.
While Chris is still on very good terms with Billie, the same can’t be said for some of his other former loves.
Here is a look at some of Chris’ famous ex-partners:
Carol McGiffin

Chris and Carol first met in 1988 while she was working as a producer for cable TV channel Music Box and he was doing a report on the network for his radio show in Manchester.
“He came into the office, all legs and bright orange hair – but it was the oh-so-confident swagger that got my attention,” she wrote in her autobiography, Oh, Carol!.
A year later they ended up working at the same company in London and snogged on a boozy press trip to Dunkirk, then finally sealed the deal after a drunken night out in London.
Recalling that fateful evening, she wrote: “Chris made me laugh until I literally couldn’t get my breath. We were quite drunk and, later when Chris and I went back to his house, we had sex for the first time.
“After that we became embroiled in a relationship of sorts. I was 30, he was 24. We did almost everything together and laughed so much.”
They quickly fell in love and moved in together, but cracks started to form and the rows were so frequent that Carol tried to end things for good in September 1991.

However, things didn’t go to plan as, according to Carol, Chris then proposed to her for the third time, and this time she said ‘yes’.
They married in secret at the “register office from hell” in Camden later that month – with Chris using using the launch for his new show, TV Mayhem, as a paid-for bash for their wedding reception.
“It was quite possibly the most comically tragic moment of my entire life,” Carol said of her big day.
But the wedding didn’t stop the rows, with Carol describing one argument as “the altercation from Hell”, leading to the pair divorcing in 1998.
Writing about their tumultuous marriage in 2010, Carol recalled finding out they were getting divorced on his GLR radio show: “One day I suddenly heard him say: ‘R.I.P the marriage,’ and felt like I’d been hit by a truck.
“He’d just announced on air that our marriage was over without even having the decency to talk to me first.”
Chris described the pair as “like two volcanoes erupting at once” during a 1994 interview with The Sun.

He said: “There was no compromise on either side. We really made a go of it, we really tried. We never rowed about anything important. God knows what we found to shout at each other about because our lives were perfect. It’s too easy to blame my career.
“It was never a case of me leaving Carol at home to run with my new showbiz friends. She came to every premiere whenever she wanted to. We went everywhere together. I feel we were better as friends than as man and wife.”
He added: “We realised that our relationship just wasn’t going anywhere. We decided we’d be better off on our own than together.”
Earlier this month, Carol spoke about her marriage to Chris on Loose Women.
Speaking about her current husband, Carol said: “It’s totally different this time.
“I knew when I married my first husband that it wasn’t going to be forever, I knew that.
“I knew it wasn’t quite right, so I just went along with it, weirdly, knowing I could get out of it, which is completely wrong.
“And then I did everything to try to keep it together and not have it end, but I couldn’t stop it.
“But luckily it was allowed, but no I would still have married Mark 100%, because you just know.”
Kim Wilde

Chris met Kim when she stepped in to cover on The Big Breakfast in November 1993.
The presenter described snogging his co-host while they were filming an intro in a zipped up tent.
“Kim kissed me back. I took this as the green light to go for it: what followed next was the most fantasy-filled five second snog any red-blooded male could experience,” he wrote in the Daily Mail in 2009.
The pair started seeing each other and Chris planned to take her out for a meal with the Big Breakfast crew when she rang to say she had been reconsidering their relationship and decided it would never work.
“Even though I had suspected I was living on borrowed time, I would have loved to have taken her out that night because it was a special occasion,” explained Chris.
“But I understood why she felt she couldn’t come. She knew the party was a big deal for me and didn’t want to be there for the wrong reasons.”
Chris went to the gathering alone and was giggling when Kim’s song, Kids In America, started playing on the karaoke machine, much to the delight of his friend Dan, a sound engineer at The Big Breakfast.
Chris added: “Finally, the party could get into full swing with Dan and me still the only ones aware that Kim had come to her senses and dumped the ginger kid.”
Geri Halliwell

Ginger spice and the ginger-haired radio host started dating in 1999.
The red-headed couple were spotted out at numerous public events before splitting later that year.
Geri was teased by her Spice Girl bandmates over the romance when they popped into his Radio 2 show ahead of their reunion tour in 2018.
As Chris said he knew Geri “inside out”, Mel B cheekily replied: “Literally, bo boom.”
When Mel asked if it was awkward between them, Chris said: “It’s never awkward…some of us get on with our exes.”
Chris then asked who would be “driving the bus” on their tour, then made a joke about his ex.
He said: “I know she’s not a good driver, that was one of our issues. I’m not joking … There were a few bumps on the road.”
Billie Piper

Chris Evans shocked the nation when he started seeing teenage pop sensation Billie Piper in 2000.
Romance quickly blossomed and Billie admitted it was love at first sight in her 2006 autobiography – Abridged from Growing Pains.
Admitting she’d always “fancied him”, Billie claimed they had a “natural affinity” when she appeared on his TFI Friday Show in the summer of 2000, despite her nerves that he was going to mock her for being a popstar.
Their first date was a London bar crawl, and not long after he turned up at Billie’s house with a £100,000 silver Ferarri covered in red roses – despite the fact she couldn’t drive – and asked her to marry him.
Writing in 2006 about the moment, Billie admitted she had been completely swept off her feet.
He told her: “I know you don’t care about any of this and nor do I, but I had to stop you in your tracks. If you don’t want it, sell it and give it to charity. I think you’re wonderful. Will you marry me?”

Just five months after their first date, Billie and Chris married in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas in May 2001 after just six months of dating.
The bride wore flip flops and a sarong, while Chris was in a shirt and sunglasses.
After tying the knot the couple spent the next 18-months travelling the world, before settling at Chris’ Surrey home.
The good times didn’t last with the couple having “screaming rows” and they split in 2004.
Despite their split Billie, the couple have remained very close friends – with Chris and new wife Natasha attending her wedding to Laurence Fox in 2007.
In 2005, Billie told the Sunday People: “Chris saved me from a lot and helped me so much with my life.
“He’s so inspiring and bright and brilliant.”
