Television presenter Lorraine Kelly is no longer allowed to chat with guests in the studio as the coronavirus pandemic continues.
The 60-year-old ITV star has revealed, just as her talk show started to bring back guest in the studio, they have been forced to go back to video calls only.
It comes as a fresh spike in Covid-19 cases and stricter lockdown measures are put in place by Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Lorraine filmed a video on Friday where she told fans that she was disappointed but that she enjoyed getting a cheeky glimpse into the houses of her famous guests.
She said: “Hi good morning to you, we are just about to go on air.

“This week things are a bit different, we actually started off the week very excited that we were allowed guests in the studio.
“And we had gorgeous Felicity Kendall here, but everything has changed now so it’s going to be back to talking to people in their houses, in their kitchens, and we can have a wee look in their houses which is actually quite good.”
Lorraine went on to point her camera at Dr Hilary Jones, who was behind the Scottish presenter in his spot at the table where they discuss the latest coronavirus updates.
She continued: “But it just means that we’ve obviously always got Dr Hilary.

“But no more guests for now, but hopefully things will change.
“He’s great, he’s been reassuring us all, making sense of all this, which is absolutely invaluable.”
Lorraine added: “Doing it every single day, which is terrific.
“Now, I’ve got to stand over there in a minute so I’ve got to go!”
Lorraine chatted with actress Alison Steadman on Friday’s show via a video link.
The telly legend admitted she would be “in heaven” if hit BBC sitcom Gavin and Stacey returned.

Alison, who played Pam Shipman on the sitcom, which was written by and starring James Corden and Ruth Jones, said: “Maybe, maybe, maybe, I’ve no idea.
“I would be in heaven if that happened.
“But we don’t know if it will.”
Welsh actress Ruth, 54, appeared on Lorraine just a few weeks ago and Lorrain probed the star on whether or not there will be a follow-up to the record-breaking Christmas special of the award-winning BBC series, which aired in December last year.
Ruth said: “I wish I could say yes but James [Corden] and I love to write together in the same room.
“It is not possible at the moment with him in America, and there are not any plans but who knows?”
After the 2019 festive episode, fans have been desperate to see more from Gavin and Stacey, played by Mathew Horne and Joanna Page, and their best mates Nessa and Smithy, played by Ruth and James.
Lorraine airs weekdays on ITV at 9am
