Amanda Holden brushed off the latest Ofcom outrage surrounding the plunging blue dress she wore on Britain’s Got Talent last weekend as she appeared on This Morning today (October 2).
The 49-year-old star sparked hundreds of complaints after wearing a low-cut dress that fans claim showed her nipples on the show.
She wore a revealing blue gown on Saturday leading to 235 objections to the TV watchdog.
Ofcom said there were 277 complaints about the show, with 235 of them related to Amanda’s dress.
Hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford were back on presenting duty on the ITV daytime show and the husband and wife duo chatted to Amanda about the release of her debut album.
But Eamonn, 60, couldn’t help but bring up the backlash surrounding Amanda’s racy BGT gown.
The cheeky presenter joked: “We are used to talking about her outfits on this show but today we’re talking about her album.
“But I do hope she’s got that dress on now though.”
As the camera panned to Amanda, who appeared on the show via a video link, the actress proved that she was covered up for her latest television performance.

Rolling her eyes, Amanda pulled on her pink ribbed jumper and said: “I’ve got a bra on”.
The conversation about Amanda’s racy outfits didn’t stop there as Eamonn pointed out that Amanda’s nipples have their own Twitter account.
Eamonn asked: “What are we going to see this weekend. Do you know your nipples have their own Twitter page?”
Amanda joked: “I’m wearing a polo neck and long sleeves.
“I said to Piers Morgan, they’ve got their own management so they’ll be on his Life Stories.
“They have a lot to get off their chest.”
It comes after Amanda joked she has a team of people to make sure her boobs don’t fall out on national TV.
The outspoken starlet, says ITV bosses are determined to make sure she doesn’t suffer a wardrobe malfunction while appearing on the hit family show.
“There’s now a whole body of people that knock on my door and come and stare at my chest before we go on air,” she told The Sun.
“There’s a t*t committee. There are so many brilliant people, they come down, knock on the door and there’s the lady who’s the producer who said, ‘Mandy, it looks great’.”
She was previously at the centre of an Ofcom storm for wearing a chest-baring dress to the BGT final in 2017.
Despite the backlash, Amanda insists she has no plans to tone things down.
In fact, the mother of two previously admitted to playing up to the haters.
“Even though I am really open and very much myself most of the time, it’s a fake circumstance when you’re sitting on a panel and judging,” she said.
“I’m very aware of myself and what I should say next.
“Sometimes I pretend I’m not and I’m outrageous, and I’m like, ‘Oh I had no idea I was going to say that’, or my boob pops out, ‘I had no idea that was going to happen!’
“You have circumstances where you know what you’re doing and the situation is always ongoing, so you are always aware.”
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am
