Former competitive swimmer Rebecca Adlington and her boyfriend Andy Parsons have revealed they’re expecting a baby boy.
The couple found out their baby’s gender during a recent scan.
The pair are expecting their baby son to arrive on his due date of 27 February.
Rebecca announced her pregnancy on Instagram back in September as she shared an adorable snap with Andy and daughter Summer as they showed off their baby scan.
She wrote at the time: “Andy and I are excited to announce that we’re expecting.
“Summer can’t wait, she asks everyday to check my belly to see if it’s growing. Going to be a long wait until the end of Feb.”
Opening up on finding out their baby’s gender to Hello Magazine, Becky, 31, said: “He was on his back with his legs wide open showing us his full package.
“I couldn’t stop laughing. It was such a funny, joyous moment.”
The Olympic star also said that she and Andy have always been convinced their first child together would be a boy.
She added: “We had a feeling and so did our friends and family.
“I feel different this time. I’m bigger and I’ve been craving carbs and savoury things, not sweet things like I did with Summer.”
Becky met Andy, 30, a facilities manager, via dating app Bumble in January 2018.
The couple moved in together last summer.
They live ten minutes away from Becky’s ex Harry Needs, who is the father of Summer and co-parents with Becky.

Harry is close to the couple but Becky said he did not move in with them during lockdown as some reports suggested.
She added: “We used to meet up with Harry for a dog walk but we weren’t living together.
“We shared Summer during lockdown and had her three days each; she adjusted really well.”
Harry, 28, recently revealed that he is bisexual.
Becky said her ex-husband will be part of her new baby’s life.
She continued: “Regardless of his sexuality we’ve always supported each other.
“Harry is really excited about the baby. He has always known I wanted more kids and he was really happy for Andy and offered to help if he needs any tips. He’s been brilliant. Our child will get to know Harry as well.”
