Tipping Point fans perplexed as player suffers embarrassing Mickey Mouse blunder

Tipping Point fans were gobsmacked after a contestant made an embarrassing error while answering a question about Mickey Mouse.

Matt was asked by presenter Ben Shephard: “The Disney cartoon character Mickey Mouse has what colour ears?”

The contestant seemingly “panicked” as he quickly answered: “Yellow?”

This is incorrect as the famous Disney character’s ears are in fact black.

Viewers were aghast at Matt’s embarrassing blunder and went into meltdown on social media.

One said: “Yellow ears? What Mickey Mouse cartoons you watching, Matt?”

While another wrote: “Micky Mouse has yellow ears? I can’t even think of who he could be confusing him with. Not exactly a trick question.”

A third added: “Yellow?! Mickey Mouse is f***ing YELLOW??? #TippingPoint”.

“Ben: “What colour ears does Mickey Mouse have?”Matt/Contestant: “Yellow”. Oh Matt. I guess he panicked”, laughed another with five laughing emojis.

Another person watching Tipping Point penned: “Mickey Mouse has yellow ears now apparently”.

Some viewers also pointed out that Matt was football legend Peter Crouch’s lookalike.

As the took on the famous Tipping Point machine, fans couldn’t help but tweet about his resemblance to Crouch.

One said: “Peter Crouch’s adopted brother”.

While another wrote: “Matt = cheap Peter Crouch lookalike. #tippingpoint”.

A third added: “Matt is like a hot Peter Crouch”, to which another replied: “Crouch is hot anyway”.

Matt didn’t do enough to make it through, and was the second player to be knocked out of the competition.

It was a contestant called Peter who made it through to the last round, giving him a chance to win the sought-after £10,000 jackpot.

After a few attempts, Peter managed to tip the jackpot counter over the edge and won himself the incredibly amount of money.
