Oasis legend Noel Gallagher has answered Dizzee Rascal’s call and recorded a duet with the rapper – despite his in famous clash with Jay Z and hip-hop music
Oasis legend Noel Gallagher has officially recorded a track with British rapper Dizzee Rascal.
The Don’t Look Back in anger singer has already layed down his vocals but the track is yet to be mastered.
Dizzee, whose real name is Dylan Kwabena Mills, has long eyed up working with Noel, but found it hard to get him on board.
Dizzee, who releases new album E3 AF later this month, has revealed: “I’ve already started on my next album, I’ve got a little something with Noel Gallagher.
“Right now, it’s being mixed. That’s one name.
“I’m just experimenting, I’ve bought a bunch of new keyboards, a bunch of new hardware and I’m just experimenting with stuff, I’ve recorded a few bits.”

Noel famously let rip after Jay Z headlined Glastonbury Festival.
Ranting in 2008, the singer said: “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
“If you start to break it then people aren’t going to go. I’m sorry, but Jay-Z? No chance.
“Glastonbury has a tradition of guitar music and even when they throw the odd curve ball in on a Sunday night you go ‘Kylie Minogue?’ I don’t know about it.

“But I’m not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It’s wrong.”
Speaking at the time, Dizzee admitted he didn’t think it was a hatred for all rap and hip-hop music.
The British star said: “I don’t think he hates hip-hop. Maybe he just felt a way about Jay-Z being at Glastonbury or hip-hop being at Glastonbury.
“He’s into music. There must be some hip-hop over the years that he must’ve liked, or Liam.
“They’re party animals, so somewhere they must’ve enjoyed some hip-hop track.”
Dizzee’s album E3 AF is a nod to his home postcode distract of Bow, East London where he grew up.
The record, which is released on October 9, will be his
seventh.
Announcing the album earlier this summer, the star said: “I’ve spent the last 3 years losing and finding myself in music and I’ve made something flawless.
“I made this album for YOU! I want you to play it at home, in your car or wherever you want but I want you to listen to it all the way through and you better have some BASS!!
“The link-ups are mad and I didn’t come to play! You’re welcome.”
