Ed Sheeran’s manager has spoken for the first time following claims that Princess Beatrice cut the singer’s face during a party at her family home.
Stuart Camp has revealed that neither he nor Ed, 29, have spoken to Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York’s eldest daughter following a booze-fuelled party at Royal Lodge, situated on the Windsor Castle estate.
Ed had been partying at the York family home with Beatrice, 32, and fellow musician and former army officer, James Blunt.
An incident is said to have happened when Princess Beatrice attempted to “knight” James as a prank during the get-together in 2016.
Not realising that the Galway Girl singer was stood behind her, Beatrice is said to have picked a sword off the wall of the royal residence and swung the blade – causing damage to Ed’s face.

Ed has never publicly addressed the incident which occurred during the boozy dinner party.
According to The Telegraph, Stuart received a call from the palace informing him of the incident.
Speaking about the night, Camp said: “I got quite protective over that because we’ve never publicly commented on it.”

“But certain people said, ‘Oh, you should lie and say it wasn’t her and say it was someone else,'” he said.
The music manager added: “I said, ‘well, we’re not telling anyone anything. I’m not lying, just because someone’s a f***ing idiot.’
“Because they’re thinking, yeah, I will get paralytic and take a sword off the wall. You’re just asking for trouble.”

Addressing their relationship with the newly married Countessa Mapelli Mozzi, he revealed: “You know, we’ve not heard hide nor hair from her since.”
At the time of the accident, it was reported by The Sun on Sunday that James Blunt had joked that he fancied becoming a Sir.

Sources said that as Beatrice said “arise Sir James” she accidentally struck Ed’s face, and that she was “inconsolable” after the incident.
Ed was later taken to Epsom hospital where he was treated and stitched up.
Daily Star Online has approached Princess Beatrice’s team at Buckingham Palace for comment.
