Ex On The Beach’s Ashley Cain's brave words after daughter's leukaemia diagnosis

Ex On The Beach star Ashley Cain has bravely opened up about his daughter’s heartbreaking leukaemia diagnosis.

The MTV hunk, 30, took to social media to share cute clips of himself and little Azaylia Diamond, who he shares with girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee.

Ashley first appeared on Ex On The Beach in 2014 for season one, alongside Vicky Pattison and Chloe Goodman, before returning for series two.

After becoming a father in August, Ashley learned his daughter was suffering from leukaemia – a type of cancer that typically begins in the bone marrow.

In the heartwarming clip, Ash leans over Azaylia, saying: “What are you so cheeky for today? You little lion.”

The doting dad then giver her a careful kiss on her head.

Speaking frankly to his followers about her condition, Ash bravely explained: “We have accepted what’s going on, we know what we need to do to beat it.

“This little soldier is fighting amazingly, it’s incredible.”

The star continued: “She’s got a very rare and aggressive case of it, and she is very little so she’s fighting an uphill battle but I have hope and faith she will surprise everybody.

“We are going to keep fighting and working and are taking this step by step, day by day – as long as keep having these promising results we are going to be okay.

“As long as there’s a glimmer of hope, it doesn’t matter how much or how little, we will hold on to that and use that to fuel us to the stars and back.”

Not stopping there, Ashley asked his supporters to keep them in his thoughts and prayers.

The star said: “I wanted everyone to know in times like this you cling onto every bit of faith and all the positive messages and all the prayers, 100% trust me they are helping.

“We are feeling the love so thank you for the positivity; we are fighting, we are strong, and we are going to beat this.”

Ash captioned the post: “Somebody woke up very cheeky today and inspired me and the whole ward to smile and be positive!

“Despite her condition, she is the happiest and most energetic person in the room and as much as we’re trying to be there and help her, she’s always the one fueling the flame of hope for us all.

“The amount of love and support we have received is overwhelming and heart filling BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY your prayers and positivity is creating an energy that we’re all fuelling off and using to grind through this tough time SO PLEASE PLEASE KEEP IT GOING!

“You’re all amazing and we really appreciate you! LETS GO CHAMP.”
