Tom Felton teases Harry Potter reunion with co-stars ahead of anniversary

Harry Potter star Tom Felton has given fans the news they’ve been waiting for, for so long.

The actor who played Draco Malfoy in the franchise has revealed that there are talks for the cast to reunite next month in order to celebrate the 19th anniversary of the release of the first film.

Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone was released in the UK on November 16, 2001 and Tom intends on celebrating this landmark occasion.

Tom, 33, added that he was in regular contact with his co-stars and can often be found on the golf course with the Weasley brothers.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he said: “I saw the Weasley twins the other day.

“We went out to play some golf.

“[I’m] always chatting with a lot of the other guys on WhatsApp and staying in touch with them and making sure everything’s alright.”

He went on to drop the almighty bombshell about a potential reunion, adding: “It’s been nice because it’s the 19th-year anniversary on November 14, so I’m planning some sort of digital celebration…

“I’m trying to wrangle all the oldies back together again to celebrate the achievement really.”

Speaking of his character, Tom revealed that school bully Draco was often “misunderstood” and just needed a hug and affection from those around him.

Tom was left less than impressed after James Phelps who played Fred Weasley recently beat him on the golf course and took home the trophy.

Taking to Instagram, Tom shared a snap of the pair alongside the caption: “You win this time Weasley.”

However, James was not one to take it lying down, commenting: “2020 Open Champion… better luck next time Tom! (Gryffindor obviously beats Slytherin),” referencing their Harry Potter school houses.

However, stepping away from his sleeked back, glossy blond locks, Tom looks almost unrecognisable in his latest role.

In newly released pictures for the Netflix production of A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting, the child actor appears dishevelled as he takes on the role of Grand Guignol.

Once again, Tom will take on a villainous role in the movie.

The film, focuses on a babysitter, Kelly Ferguson, looking after a child who is kidnapped by Tom’s evil character on Halloween.

In order to have the boy given back, Kelly has to step into a supernatural world – which also includes an army of babysitters who know how to ensure kids stay safe and out of the hands of monsters.
