Loose Women panellist Andrea McLean risked an overshare on Tuesday’s show, as she seemed to make a reference to tweezing hair in intimate regions.
The 51-year-old ITV star was joined by her co-stars Saira Khan, Kelle Bryan and Janet Street-Porter on the show, discussing everything from politics to technology.
Teasing a segment yet to come on the show, focusing on Strictly Come Dancing star Katya Jones’ recent comments on the subject of grey hairs, the conversation took a surprising turn.
Andrea said: “Strictly’s Katya Jones says she actually gets excited every time she spots a grey hair.”
Before adding: “We’re going to be revealing more of our thoughts on that later.”
Then, Andrea pointed out the head wasn’t the only place to discover grey hair, as she hinted at discovering silver strands on other parts of the body with tweezers.
Watching from home, viewers were a little surprised by the overshare, as one wrote on Twitter: “Did she mean down below???”
Later in the episode, Hollyoaks star Kelle made it clear she wouldn’t stand for grey hairs in her nether-regions, much to Andrea’s surprise.
She declared: “if there’s any grey downstairs they’ve got to go.”
Laughingly, Andrea was then quick to bring the programme to a close, holding up her phone and saying: “Kelle the producers are saying that’s all we’ve got time for sadly.”
Janet was similarly unimpressed by the prospect of silver tresses, as Andrea said to her: “I don’t think I even need to ask you about your thoughts on going grey.”
With her hair dyed bottle red, Janet agreed: “It’s a hideous idea.”
Jokingly, she added: “When I’m being buried, girls, making sure my roots are done.”
