Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan confirmed for surprise This Morning return

This Morning presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan will be returning to ITV this week to join Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on the show.

Eamonn and Ruth are filling in for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield while they take a break for the October half term holidays.

An advert confirmed the pair would be hosting Thursday’s show, and would be joined by former TOWIE star Ferne McCann.

The narrator is heard saying: “They presented This Morning for 13 years, but are now more likely to be found nose-deep in a book.

They presented This Morning from 1988 until 2001, before moving over to Channel 4 to host Richard & Judy for seven years.

Richard and Judy were last seen on the show together back in July as they made a one-off return during the summer holidays.

Taking over from Holly and Phil once again, the pair returned to the sofa and Richard’s new appearance certainly got viewers talking.

They couldn’t help notice Richard’s vibrant tan and show-stopping two-piece suit, as they took to social media to comment on his drastically different appearance.

One posted: “Those shoes and socks look ridiculous with Richard’s suit

Another added: “Who dressed Richard in that outfit ???? Awful Fail!”

A third wrote: “Richard being on holiday or his gone bit ott with fake tan lol.”

Many other viewers rushed to beg show bosses to make the pair come back for a permanent return, as one wrote: “Bring back Richard and Judy! Let them take over the show. Love them!”

Another said: “I wonder if Richard and Judy will be presenting on Fridays?!”

“Just bring back Richard and Judy permanently. Best presenters on TV! Or at least let them stand in when Phil and Holly are off. The rest pale in comparison.”

This Morning continues tomorrow at 10am on ITV.
