Dawn Ward charged with racially aggravated harassment and drug possession

TV WAG Dawn Ward has appeared in court charged with racially aggravated harassment and possessing cocaine.

The Real Housewives Of Cheshire star, who lives in a £15m mansion with her ex-Manchester City, Everton and Sheffield United footballer husband Ashley Ward, 49, is accused of committing the offences at Euston railway station in London on October 29 last year (2019).

The 47-year-old mum-of-four will not stand trial until March 2022, Inner London Crown Court heard on Monday.

Ward, from Great Warford in Cheshire, is accused of racially aggravated intentional harassment towards Jake and Sam Jacobs at the London station.

She was also charged with possessing a Class A drug.

Ward denies all charges.

The Real Housewife celebrated her 25-year wedding anniversary with footballer Ashley earlier this year, celebrating the occasion in Cheshire’s Warford Hall.

First meeting in a Bolton car park in the early 90s, Ashley and Dawn went on to raise four daughters together, building up an empire together in the North West.

A British spin-off of the popular US reality series, The Real Housewives of Cheshire first launched in 2015, airing on ITVbe.

Season 12 of the show aired earlier this month, as the Cheshire socialites regrouped to film post-lockdown.

Dawn joins fellow stars Tanya Bardsley, Lauren Simon, Rachel Lugo, and – until recently – Christine McGuinness on the show.

Outside her reality TV career, Salford-born starlet Dawn also runs a cosmetics business named Skulpt.

Dawn’s clinic offers a number of beauty treatments, from facials to non-surgical facelifts.

Explaining her motivation in opening the clinic in a 2017 interview with Cheshire Life, Dawn said: “Times have changed.

“There was a day when nobody coloured their hair but you’ve got to move with the times.

“People are becoming more conscious of the way they look and the old saying grow old gracefully doesn’t have to be any more. I’m not the kind to grow old gracefully.”
