Emmerdale's Cain Dingle murder horror as Moira's brother betrays them with Jamie

Emmerdale fans could be set to see Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) turn to the dark side again after deciding he’s not keen on Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb), Moira’s brother.

Moira (Natalie J Robb) decides to face up to her past next week, according to new Emmerdale spoilers, and speak to her brother about a few things.

But later on, viewers will see her crying on her own, and they will be left wondering if the truth can ever repair their destroyed relationship.

Soon enough, Cain sees Mackenzie in the village and the two of them square up.

Cain threatens him, saying if he ever sees him in the village again, he’ll be leaving in a coffin.

Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) reminds Moira that she’s there for her if she ever needs anything.

But when Cain gets home and starts slating Mackenzie, Moira warns him to stay away.

Could she have pushed Cain away too, though?

It’s not long before Moira is making an apology phone call to offer someone an olive branch.

Elsewhere in the village, Cain and Sam Dingle (James Hooton) decide to try and get revenge on Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln).

The village bad boy had had a confrontation with Lydia (Karen Blick) earlier on.

At Home Farm, Jamie is pouring himself a brandy when he hears some worrying noises.

He gears up to search the house.

Jamie creeps to the stairway but gets distracted by a noise in the kitchen, so doesn’t see Mackenzie hiding in the shadows holding a crowbar.

Drinking his brandy, Jamie wallows and is soon confronted by Cain and Sam for a “chat”, with all completely unaware that Mackenzie is watching them.

Cain tells a drunk Jamie their plan, and Mackenzie’s interest is piqued.

He steps out of the shadows, but could Jamie have found a new ally in the village?

And given their history full of ups and downs, will Moira really be able to stop Cain from going after her brother?

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays, on ITV
