Katie Price has reportedly “taken her first steps” after suffering a brutal accident which saw her break both feet.
The 42-year-old former glamour model was seen “standing for a brief moment” as the star was spotted while on holiday with her Love Island star boyfriend Carl Woods in the Maldives.
A source told The Sun: “Katie is undergoing three hours of intensive hydrotherapy rehabilitation a day and has been in the gym every day.
“She defies all odds as doctors told her she wouldn’t walk for two years and is almost there with her recovery.”
They added that Katie’s beau Carl has been hugely supportive, as they remarked: “Carl’s love and support has clearly been the best medicine.”

Katie’s representative told Mirror Online that she was “standing for a brief moment – she is not yet ‘walking’ but able to stand momentarily with support.
“She has made amazing progress and continues to do so,” they added.
Daily Star Online has contacted Katie’s rep for comment.
The news of Katie’s recovery comes after the brunette bombshell was left shaken after she and Carl fell victim to horrible trolling again.

While enjoying their holiday in the Maldives, Katie and Carl were messaged repeatedly by a stranger who told them they “should be shot”.
The couple have since threatened to involve the police and have posted the message on social media.
Carl took to Instagram to share a screenshot. The message from the troll read: “You should be shot. Why do you think any living person in a pandemic will gain from seeing you two chavs in the Maldives? Why do you think anyone gives a f***?”

Katie shared the message on her Instagram story, writing a message: “When I have had four kidnap threats this should be a police matter. Saying about being shot.”
Katie added the hashtag “Harvey’s law”, relating to the work she’s been doing to have online abuse a specific offence.
In honour of her son Harvey, 18, Katie has been campaigning for a new law which would see cruel trolls forced to sign a register of offenders.
