Former Strictly Come Dancing professional ballroom dancer Gleb Savchenko has took to Instagram to confirm that he and wife Elena Samodanova have parted ways.
Turning off the comments, Gleb, 37, who now performs on America’s Dancing With The Stars, shared a statement with his 352,000 followers to announce the split on social media.
He penned: “It is with a heavy heart that I tell you my wife and I are parting ways after 14 years of marriage.
“We still intend to co-parent our wonderful children together who we love so dearly, and we will strive to continue to be the best parents that we can to them.
“We ask that you respect our family’s need for privacy and healing during this time.”

Elena also shared her own devastation over the split, as she shared a series of broken heart emojis along with her own announcement.
Sharing an image on her Instagram story, she wrote: “After 14 years of marriage, with my deepest sadness, our road is coming to an end.”
Later, she left fans wondering what had happened behind closed doors as she followed up with an emotive note.
It read: “I don’t hate you, I’m just disappointed you turned into everything you said you’d never be.”

The choreographer, who tied the knot with Gleb back in 2006, didn’t remove comments and the post created much speculation.
Fans were convinced that the Strictly curse still applies across the pond on its sister show, as fans blamed Gleb’s friendship with celeb dance partner Chrishell Stause, 39.
After Elena’s cryptic post, the rumour mill went into overdrive about the dance partnership.

However, the Selling Sunset star took to her platform to shoot down any false accusations, adding that she and Gleb were nothing more than friends.
She wrote: “I am so saddened about the news of Gleb and Elena’s split. It is unfortunate that this has caused rumours to swirl about my personal life.
“Having gone through a public split myself, I would not wish this on anyone.
“As you can imagine, the countless hours of training and dance rehearsals created a strong supportive friendship, but nothing more.
“I wish nothing but the best for both Gleb and Elena during this unfortunate time.”
