Throughout the last few decades of the modern age, which has seen a rise in fame and social media, a number of bizarre – and rather odd – conspiracy theories regarding celebrities have emerged.
One of the most interesting, if not a little crazy, is the conspiracy theory that some celebrities and powerful people are lizard people.
Studies in America have shown that around 12million of its citizens believe that some of society’s elite are cold-blooded humanoid reptilians here to take over the world.
Theorists believe these “lizard people” can shape-shift into human forms and even mate with humans.
David Icke, who has on a number of occasions been dubbed anti-Semitic for his theories, said in his book The Biggest Secret: The Book That Will Change the World that lizard people blend into our crowds by looking like us.

The author said he believes they use holographic technology to disguise themselves as everyday humans, and often rise to high levels of power in order to manipulate the masses.
There is, of course, no proof behind any of the claims about the conspiracy but millions of people believe that some celebs, politicians and royals are reptiles.
These include, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Angelina Jolie and more.
Some also controversially believe that Queen Elizabeth, the Royal Family, the Bush family, CEOs and global banking leaders are also lizard people.
But where do these “lizard people” come from?

Many believe that in ancient times a group of advanced reptiles from the Alpha Draconis star system came to Earth and infiltrated the governments of the ancient civilizations in order to control all the humans and enslave them.
Theorists believe the lizard people once openly became their rulers and bred with humans to form crossbreeds so that their DNA can “infiltrate the minds of humans”.
Some fans are so obsessed that the theory is real that every time a video of a certain celeb comes out, they will study it to see if they drop the apparent act and reveal their reptile state.
One of those celebs is Justin Bieber – who some theorists believe is a lizard man and have believed so for a decade.
But things turned even more odd in March of 2017 when a report was published by Perth Now, a local paper in Australia, that “hundreds” of terrified Australian onlookers saw Bieber “transform into reptile form” at an airport.

The second media outlet to pick up on the story was Buzzfeed but reporters claimed that the article was very quickly taken down by the Aussie local paper and then alleged that they denied knowledge of the story ever existing.
The fans claimed that during the transformation his head shrunk, his “eyes went black”, he grew a foot taller and had “gross scales all over his body”.
A source told YourNewsWire.com at the time: “He grew a few feet taller and had gross [coloured] scales all over his body. It happened so fast but everyone saw it and started screaming and crying. A lot of people were running for the exits.”
There is also a video on YouTube of Justin of his eyes rolling back in a “reptile-like fashion” which has millions of views and thousands of comments saying that it is “proof” that he is a lizard man.
Katy Perry, Madonna and Angelina Jolie are also big showbiz names who are said to be secret lizard folk.

It is said that these people having green eyes, good eyesight and hearing, red hair, scars, low blood pressure, a love of space and a sense of not belonging to the human race are dead giveaways.
Also watch out for a smile that shows the bottom teeth, eyes that change size or have large pupils, and a general lizard-ish vibe.
There are also some celebrities who believe that the theory of lizard people is true – and they’re not afraid to air their bizarre opinions.
One of those stars is TOWIE star and meme icon Gemma Collins, also known as The GC.
During her podcast for the BBC, the reality TV star said she believes the lizard people live secretly under the earth and travel around in underground tunnels.

She said: “I believe there are lizards living amongst us.
“Do these humans who appear to be humans and look like us and act like us, go into the tunnels where their human faces, their human bodies, do they retract back into being lizards when they go into the tunnels?”
Gemma continued: “There’s been so many reports that there are different kinds of species living in the UK and around the world.
“I want to meet you, I want to touch you, I want to smell you, I want to know more. I’m not scared about this.”
Love Island heartthrob Ovie Soko was also filmed during the show’s Saturday night episode of Unseen Bits saying that he believes the world is run by “lizard people”.

While talking to his co-stars Curtis Pritchard and Chris Taylor, Ovie shared his opinions after Chris started debating the conspiracy theory.
He declared in July 2019 on the ITV show: “Lizard people f***ing run the world! Reptilians!
“All the richest, famous, biggest mother****ers in the world. Reptilians.”
His co-star Tommy Fury nodded in agreement after Ovie previously also made the declaration.
However, Ovie drew the line at the Queen and refused to say whether he believed or not if she was a lizard person after Tommy asked for his thoughts.
Instead, he blessed her and refused to give his opinion.
But he continued: “I swear to God they’re f***ing reptilians! It’s a fact. They’ve just learned how to mask themselves as human and blend into society.”
The star then proceeded to tell his fellow Islanders that he had done his research into the bizarre conspiracy theory before coming into the villa.
He recalled how he’d been looking at photos revealing people “morphing” and people having “lizard eyes” when their façade dropped.
