Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway has warned the latest batch of I’m A Celebrity contestants that they will be “utterly miserable” ahead of the series launch this weekend.
The 53-year-old ITV star took part in the gruelling reality show last year in Australia, but the upcoming 20th series is being set in Gwrych Castle in North Wales due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The change of location means the new group of famous faces will be battling wind and rain more than scorching temperatures and critters.
Appearing on Capital Radio with I’m A Celeb pal Roman Kemp and his co-hosts Sian Welby and Sonny Jay, Katie said: “I think it’s going to be utterly miserable for them.
“But then, it’s meant to be, isn’t it?” I think it’s exactly what we need.

“We’ve all watched everything, we need some new telly. I can’t wait!”
Roman added: “We need a bit of Ant and Dec!”
The radio presenter opened the chat with Kate by sending his best for her husband Derek Draper, who’s was hospitalised in March with coronavirus.
Kate recently opened up about the financial difficulties she is facing while Derek continues to battle the lasting effects of Covid-19.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain recently, the mother of two said: “One of the practical problems – which a lot of people would’ve experienced if they’ve got the absence of someone in their life – like many things the car is entirely in Derek’s name, the insurance is in Derek’s name, a lot of our bank accounts.
“There are a lot of financial goings which is making life very complicated because I can’t get access to things.”
The new cast of I’m A Celebrity was confirmed on Sunday evening in a special show featuring presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly.
Sir Mo Farah, Victoria Derbyshire, Giovanna Fletcher, Jordan North, Beverley Callard are among the familiar faces who have signed up to bed in Gwyrch Castle.
AJ Pritchard, Vernon Kay, Jessica Plummer, Hollie Arnold MBE and Shane Ritchie have also signed up to take part in the show.
Who will be crowned the first-ever King or Queen of the Castle?
