Emmerdale fans are convinced Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor Draper) will accidentally murder one of her family members following Tuesday night’s dramatic visit to the Yorkshire Dales.
The vet assistant is suffering from deletions thinking her late mum Lisa is telling her to “defend the family”.
Her fragile mental health has seen her stop taking her anti-psychotic medications and she has been suffering from visions.
During Tuesday’s episode, Belle began seeing he ex Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) as people around her – including her own brother Sam Dingle (James Hooton).
Lisa’s voice encouraged her to take the cake knife from Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) and Nate Robinson’s (Jurell Carter) gender reveal party.
While the couple celebrated they were having a baby girl, it emerged that Belle was being encouraged by “Lisa” to do something terrible.
Fleeing to the woods, she thought was being followed by “Jamie” – although it could have been anyone.
Gripping the knife, Belle was urged to protect herself and her family.
Emmerdale fans predict that she’s going to end up knifing one of her family members in a dark twist.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “There’s gotta be a point where Belle’s gonna strike a fake Jamie and take out another Dingle.
“While hearing voices are bad, might as well follow the advice for the good of the village and go after the real deal at this point.”
A second added: “I think Belle could hurt someone else thinking they are Jamie, maybe Sam.”
While a third person penned: “Taking bets anyone on whether Belle stabs Cain, Sam or herself?? One thing is for sure it isn’t gonna be Jamie.”
A fourth added: “Belle is gonna stab Sam thinking its Jamie.”
“So one of the Dingles will run towards Belle and she will lash out with the knife,” a fifth fan predicted.
Belle began seeing a demonic vision of Jamie harassing her during Monday’s instalment of the ITV soap.
He viciously taunted her as she broke down and sobbed for her dead mum to protect her.
Emmerdale continues on ITV on Wednesday night at 7pm
