I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! fans got to see the softer side to Vernon Kay during Thursday evening’s episode, as he sobbed over a present from his family.
The former Family Fortunes presenter, 46, is married to Strictly star Tess Daly, with the pair sharing two daughters – Phoebe, 16, and Amber, 11.
Opening a package that had been sent from his family, Vernon was left wiping away his tears, making it clear he was struggling to spend time apart from his clan.
Tess and the girls had sent him a grey checkered blanket, knowing he likes to cosy up under a rug while watching telly.

Living together in their Buckinghamshire home, Vernon previously admitted his goal in taking part in the show was to make his family proud.
Ahead of the series debut last week, he said: “Mainly though I am doing it for my daughters, Phoebe and Amber.
“It’s a show they watch on a regular basis and they get behind the people in the camp. I think the fact I am involved in it will make it even more fun for them!
“And now it is approaching, they are so excited. Every time I talk about it, I get a double fist pump from them and they are thrilled to be involved.”

Vernon wasn’t the only celeb sobbing – EastEnders star Jessica Plummer and BBC broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire were also left crying over the personal messages they received.
However, watching the scenes unfold on the show, viewers felt it was a little too early in the competition to do the “Letters From Home” feature of the show.
One Twitter user said: “Surely they haven’t been away long enough for letters from home??? that’s normally week 2 material.”
“Letters from home already? Less than a week before it started?? Why???,” wrote a second.
Making a good point, however, a third fan countered: “Is everyone asking about the letters forgetting that they had to go in weeks earlier to isolate.”
