I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is famed for its shower scenes, which typically sees the campmates bathe in rock pools and under waterfalls in their swimming togs, as they wash off the grime of the Australian jungle.
This year, the action is taking place in North Wales, meaning it’s far too chilly for the 12 celeb contestants to brave an outdoor shower.
Instead, they have been forced to soak under a pulley system in an antiquated bathtub, with hot water pumping from a watering can overhead.
Saturday evening saw the arrival of a “catch-up” episode on our screens, detailing the highlights – and low lights – of the past week on the show.
At one point, ITV shared footage of the famous faces braving the grubby showers, trying their best to scrub up in the grotty tub.

The likes of former Family Fortunes presenter Vernon Kay and EastEnders actress Jessica Plummer could be seen washing behind the dirty shower curtain in the previously unseen clips.
Vernon had already made headlines with a shower scene previously in the week when he was joined by Jordan North in the dismal bathroom.
At the time, Jordan moaned: “That bathroom is awful, you have to get someone to pump water from the other side of the bathroom. It looks like the start of when they buy a house in Homes Under the Hammer but worse than that.”
The BBC Radio 1 DJ then jokingly fawned over the experience of showering with T4 star Vernon, quipping: “I think I’ve peaked already a couple of days in, I’ve showered Vernon Kay.”

Former Strictly Come Dancing professional AJ Pritchard could also be seen going for a soak in the tub – this time wearing his swimming togs.
EastEnders star Shane Richie didn’t know where to look during their first night in the castle, when AJ hopped into the shower completely nude, flashing his bum to the camera.
Watching the shower scenes unfold from home, viewers were delighted by the flesh on display, as one Twitter user wrote: “Well the only need for tonight’s episode was the shower scenes #ImACeleb#imacelebrity.”

“Well, @Aj11Ace just stole the @imacelebrity highlights show with that shower scene. How is he so utterly beautiful. All I need now is for him to waltz one of the ladies around the floor and that will be me finished #ImaCeleb#teamAJ#ajpritchard,” wrote a second.
And a third chimed: “Well there was a lot of shower action tonight in #ImACeleb wasn’t there..”
